Wiki Leaks

Wiki Leaks

We've heard of wikileaks as a site which provided restricted and classified information about relations between countries. There was a huge furore(extensive media coverage) in the media then which has been silenced out now. But after I have followed this sensational website and its activities, suddenly, news about it died out.
Just giving you the overview-

1.Wikileaks was launched in 2006 by Julian Assange and his partners under the name of a Press Association 2. Assange recruited highly penetratable hackers for extracting informations from the cables.

What are these cables?
-> From the American embassy to various embassies there exist diplomatic cables which are  used for communication of classifed information through encrypted messages.

3.Assange's Background
Many sources and sites state that Assange was a very talented network programmers and also Internet rights activist.

What people do not know is that Assange worked for CIA(Central Intelligence Agency of USA) and he was very much successful in penetrating into various countries official information. But later his importance reduced in the organisation and he came out of it.

Now, with him knowing all the information about the cables(and various glitches in the security) and various other required things it was easy for him to get the information from the cables and started publishing them.

He was arrested recently, not on the grounds of wikileaks but another scandal and since has been in house arrest. So, wikileaks is carrying on its activity but has not generated as much interest it generated earlier.

First Post

Vizag Vignette

An azured morning sky,
the waves rising high,
the warmth of the sun's rays falling on my face,
waves reaching the shore at a steady pace,
I find shells along the shore,
and morning birds that fly and soar,
the mind rejuvenates by the splendid thoughts,
etching reality and illuminating thoughts,
the amber horizon at sunset,
marks the dusk's onset,
the starry night a magnificent spectacle,
moonlit sky makes it exceptional,
waves imprint on shore like zigzag,
on the enchanting shore of vizag.
